Mohammad Javad is a composer, pianist, setar player, classical vocalist, and educator.
His works have been recognized and performed internationally.
His musical journey began with a strong foundation in traditional Iranian music, initially
starting with Setar. Over time, his passion for music expanded as he delved into piano,
harmony, and orchestration, ultimately leading him to pursue a degree in composition.
In 2019, he successfully entered the only composition program in Iran.
He completed his undergraduate studies in composition at the Tehran University of Art
in 2022, where he excelled as the top graduate. This achievement allowed him to
pursue a master's degree in composition at the same institution. Throughout his
academic journey, he attended various courses and masterclasses, notably with
composers like Reza Vali and Ahmad Pejman, which significantly influenced his musical
style.
Mohammad Javad's experiments so far have received acclaim and recognition,

His diverse musical interests encompass Iranian urban and traditional music, as well as
Azerbaijani, Arabic, and Kurdish musical traditions. Persian poetry, spanning from the
Middle Ages to some late 20th-century contemporary works, has been influential in
shaping his artistic taste. In recent years, he has explored contemporary music.
His recent projects focus on the performative aspects of composing, often incorporating
immersive theatrical elements. For example, he directed a performance with musicians
from various genres, accompanied by visual elements, including documentary
materials. This was performed in RooBeroo Mansion.
Apart from his creative work, Mohammad Javad has been an active member of
TEHRANVOCAL ENSEMBLE since 2022 and TONAL CHOIR since 2019, This
collaboration has led to numerous performances at major Iranian festivals and public
events. He has also composed for various short films and theater performances, with
some of his works featured at prominent theater venues such as Molavi Hall (2019-
2020). Additionally, he has been involved in teaching and tutoring at various institutions,
with a primary focus on tonal harmony and solfege.
