Requirements
All composers may apply for ACIMC membership by submitting a request.

​

• 2 recent pieces, preferably for various ensembles, including:

​

a) Recording of the piece (acoustic recording is preferable) 
b) Score (not necessary for electroacoustic compositions) 
c) Information about each (performers, ensemble, date & place of the performance etc...) 

​

• A detailed CV 
• A list of works with the complete information regarding the performers, the date and place of the performances 
 

Selection Criteria
The artistic committee of ACIMC will select new members based on their artistic merit but most importantly on their professional achievements as a composer. 

​

Upon selection, new members need to upload materials through an online form that they will receive.
 

​

Membership privileges
1) Access to ACIMC projects and the possibility of proposing and designing new projects 
2) Subscription to ACIMC newsletter to receive updates on competitions, contemporary music festivals and workshops; in general any opportunities for composers 
3) Discount on the entrance fees for ACIMC composition competitions or call for scores 
4) To be presented as ACIMC composer both on the website and to the ensembles and curators collaborating with ACIMC 
5) Access to the substantial network of performers, publishers and active international composers

After careful review of all material submitted, the artistic committee of ACIMC will notify applicants of the results via email within a few weeks of the date of application.
